Bryan Cressman

Instructor and Development

Bryan Cressman is a Colorado Native and has served in the fire service for over 13 years. He is part of a proud lineage of public servants. Although he didn’t follow directly in his father’s footsteps (as a Westminster Police Officer) he did recognize the importance of public service.

He currently works as a Paramedic for the Westminster Fire Department and has done so for the past eight years. He’s developed several programs for the department, including an Active Shooter Program. He has trained new medics from Saint Anthony’s Paramedic Program and was himself part of the program. From the time he was able to walk Bryan was involved with canines. He has known the love, joy and pain of owning a dog.

During his youth his parent’s bred, raised and showed championship German shepherds and continue to this day. Bryan learned early on about the love of a dog and how integral they are to the family dynamic and looks forward to bringing a dog into his children’s life in 2018. As such Bryan became involved with K9 CPR and First-aid six years ago learning under Odie’s tutelage. He is extremely proud and excited to be part of this ground breaking program and looks forward to being a handler and foster parent for the program.
